The X Factor is back in August

The X Factor returns in August with 19 shows in 2005.

The four extra shows will mean that there could be four acts in each category this year instead of the three in 2004.

Even more singers have applied for the auditions this year.

Simon, Sharon and Louis will be back for for the second series.
