X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has signed a $3.5 million five album contract in the US.
Alex has signed with the Epic label, a subsidiary of Sony, and will share the same label as Beyoncé and Rihanna.
Two years ago Leona Lewis signed a US record contract worth about $10 million.
