X Factor - Judges and Mentors compete Against X Factor Finalists for Christmas no 1

This Christmas the race is on for the Christmas no 1 spot. Will the new X Factor winner of the current series successfully follow the tradition of scooping the number 1 spot as previous winners Shayne Ward and Leona Lewis have done? Or will it be the judges/mentors who will scoop the top spot?

That’s right. For also vying in the charts over Christmas is none other than X Factor judge and men’s 25 year old and under mentor Dannii Minogue whose compilation of her Greatest hits "Unleashed" is due to be released tomorrow! It includes several dance remixes of her previous hits.

And more interesting is that her comeback single “Touch Me Like That” is due to be released on December 3rd. That’s right, just in time to go head to head with the X Factor winner's single in time for Christmas!

And as her sister Kylie has agreed to appear on the final show as guest mentor, it could be an Australian chart topper. Kylie is in the UK and currently promoting her new CD Kylie X which is due for release in November. Her new single “Two Hearts” is currently in the charts, competing against last year’s winner Leona Lewis whose single "Bleeding Love" is at no 1 for the third consecutive week.

Expect to see a lot more of Dannii Minogue this week in the press. She has posed for some interesting photo shoots ahead of the CD launch, and there is a lot more of her visible than normally glimpsed as a judge on the X Factor panel!
