The days of beheading are long gone but robbing the royals is still a crime that just doesn't pay.
Two men were arrested within seconds of entering the grounds of the home shared by Princes William and Harry in Shropshire. The would-be robbers apparently didn't know the royals lived at the home, which they had assumed would be "easy pickings" when in fact it's probably the most secure house in the area.
See? All that tax money for their security really does pay off!
Meanwhile the two men who last year attempted to sell private pictures of the Middleton sisters and Prince William on holiday have admitted to stealing the camera flashcard from Pippa Middleton's car. Originally they claimed to have found the flashcard in a gutter. The Sun called police after the pair attempted to sell the photos for £50,000. Amusingly the The Sun only called the police after the men refused their offer of £25,000 for the intimate (and potentially embarrassing) photos. They have been charged with 100 hours of unpaid work and are to pay £125 in court costs. The pair also received a tongue lashing from the judge who labeled them "Dumb and Dumber".
