This Christmas the race is on for the Christmas no 1 spot.

Well if my nerves were anything to go by, I'm sure the ACTUAL cast members were a bit apprehensive of the first show!........

The nation's nerves were on edge tonight for the final of Any Dream Will Do, Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for a new Joseph.

I recently saw Aoife Mulholland triumph in her first night as Maria in the Sound of Music.

Aoife finished fourth in the popular BBC show ‘How do you solve a problem like Maria?’ which saw Connie Fisher win the title role.

And then there were five.

After several long enduring nights the public no longer have to endure the agonizing pain that was Angellica Bell singing for her bid to stay in Fame Academy.

I recently caught ‘How do You Solve a Problem Like Maria’s Abi Finley in the UK tour of Fame.

This week I saw Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre in London and I absolutely loved it! The music was just incredible: moving, uplifting, powerful and simply beautiful with many recurring themes and melodies.

Grease Academy, the results are in!

Tonight’s episode of Grease: You're the One that I Want showcased the results of Grease Academy. Of the 50 hopefuls who entered the academy at the end of last week’s episode, only 24 came out ~ 12 guys and 12 girls battled it out on stage tonight for a position in the live shows, which begin next week.

An official release has confirmed the rumours that after just two preview performances, Simon Shepherd has stood down from the role of Captain Georg Von Trapp in the much anticipated The Sound of Music. Officially it was a mutual decision.

The hills are alive with the sound of Connie!

Last night was the first Preview night of the hotly anticipated “new” musical “The Sound of Music”. If you’re not aware of this latest addition to the West End, you clearly weren’t one of the 8 million who watched BBC’s “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?” and saw Connie Fisher win the coveted role of Maria Von Trapp.
