Semi-Finals

Tonight we say goodbye to one more Danny as we enter the semi-finals. This is the last night that the panel of judges get to decide who stays and who goes. As the competition progresses, Derek’s cracking voice and Austin’s “fake fun” might put these two strong candidates in the bottom two, singing for a chance to continue.

Guy’s Night

It’s the guy’s turn to wow the judges tonight while the Sandy’s get the week off. Opening the show with “Grease Lightning” are the top 4 Danny’s- Austin, Derek, Max and Chad. We will also say goodbye to one Sandy tonight; will Kathleen, Laura, Ashley or Allie be the one to go home?

Grease Academy, the results are in!

The Auditions: New York, New York

There were plenty of sour apples in the Big Apple this evening. Even though they gave everyone a chance to sing in front of the judges (even the man who seemed to be in his 60’s with gray hair and a missing tooth, who asked David Ian if he’d like to hear a monologue) they were brutal in their commentary. They reduced many auditionees to tears (even a few that they ended up putting through to the dance round of auditions), but considering how many off-key versions of “Hopelessly Devoted” they’ve had to listen to, who can blame them?
