Snakes Alive
"Do you feel under any pressure?"
"Yes. Big time!" replied Nigel.
Ant and Dec advised Nigel that Snakes Alive was a dangerous trial and that he could pull out of it at any time.
Nigel reacted: "And have everyone in England laugh at me, the Dark Destroyer failing it. No chance. I'm going for it 100 per cent."
Nigel collected three stars from the tank and the snakes began to stir. Then one of them went for Nigel and sank his teeth into his arm. Fortunately the snakes in the tank were not poisonous.
At the end of the four minutes allowed, three stars were still hidden underneath the snakes and remained in the tank.
Nigel was treated by a paramedic, who said afterwards: "I was not worried about the snake biting Nigel. I was more worried about him hyperventilating. He was absolutely terrified."
Nigel collected five stars in total and therefore five meals as well as the very vicious snake bites.
Nigel spends time alone in the jungle night
Nigel was chosen for a second bush tucker trial.
"A week in my life passed that I could have spent with my wife and kids," said Nigel.
He was thinking about quitting the camp.
"I would miss you so much if you went," said Tara.
Nigel made his way off to spend time alone in the jungle darkness. His only company were video cameras and unknown nocturnal jungle creatures.
As he sat there the other seven stuffed themselves with food that was being delivered and that Nigel had won for them.
Generously, Christine said: "Let's keep half an apple for Nigel."
After an hour in the jungle, Nigel had won food for everyone and returned to the camp.
The Dark Destroyer on Tony
Louise Loughman, the host of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now! asked Nigel: "Has Tony not given you a laugh? I think he's very funny."
Nigel replied: "He's given me a laugh wearing that toupee on his head."
Nigel and the thief
This time last year Nigel hit the headlines after a bag thief realised he'd picked on the wrong person when he turned round to see Nigel chasing him.
The incident happened at Gatwick Airport as The Dark Destroyer was deep in conversation with staff.
The thief, seeing the holdall unattended, took his chance and whisked it away.
Unfortunately for the thief, Nigel spotted what happened and set off in pursuit. It didn't take long before the crook was caught and found himself in a headlock he was never going to get out of.
The only item in the bag was a bible, but Nigel made sure the culprit didn't get away with it.
"I shouted 'Oi, you - give me back my bag'! I ran after him and got him in a headlock. He was a big lump and was struggling for his life but I wasn't going to let him go. There was no question of me hurting him, though."
A police spokesman said: "It's fair to say the suspect got a hell of a lot more then he bargained for. Nigel Benn is not a man to be messed with. You steal his belongings at your peril."
A 34-year-old Chilean man who was arrested for the theft was fined £150 by magistrates and ordered to be deported back to his homeland.
