Queen Elizabeth posts on YouTube

Queen Elizabeth broadcast her first Christmas Day message on TV in 1957. 50 years on her latest message will be posted on YouTube.

A "Royal Channel" on YouTube went live just after midnight and her Christmas message for 2007 will appear at 3pm UK time on Christmas Day at the same time it is aired on TV in the UK.

The Royal Channel features archive and recent footage of Queen Elizabeth and other royals. Videos include shots of garden parties, state visits, the Queen and prime ministers, investitures and a day in the life of Prince Charles.
