Forum member Jenna4Nikk had just finished a school exam when Nikk walked straight in! Jenna had entered a Top of the Pops Saturday competition to meet Phixx - and had won!
Jenna said: "I could not believe the band were stood in front of me. Meeting them is amazing. They are definitely as nice in real life!"
Before leaving the group of five performed a special festive medley of carols to wish Jenna and her friends a Merry Christmas. The show is due to be screened on Saturday 27th December.
Nikk Mager, Pete Smith, Chris Park, Andrew Kinlochan and Mikey Green have formed Phixx.
They have reportedly signed a three-album deal with independent label Concept Music for a cool £500,000.
It was previously reported that Phixx would release the Prince track Get Off. In fact their first single was Hold On Me - released on 27th October 2003. The track was produced by Fame Academy's songwriting teacher John McLaughlin, who had previously worked with Busted, Blue and Five. The single entered the official UK top 40 at number ten on 2nd November.
Phixx are being managed by Nathan Moore, the former singer with 80s band Brother Beyond. They signed with the management team who steered the original Popstars losers Liberty X to bigger success than Hear'say - the band that won - and which has now split up.
“Being involved in Popstars: The Rivals gave us all our break," Mikey told The Sun. “The five of us all got on really well on the show and secretly always wanted it to be us who made the final band.”
Mikey moved into Girls Aloud Sarah Harding's London flat. The neighbours have complained that the couple have kept them awake during the night.
Talking about Phixx, Nikk said: "We all write songs. It is more personal that way. But it is amazing that all these big bands want to work with us."
Phixx have also appeared on TV shows and had plans to play in a charity fun soccer tournament with other bands.
Nikk said the whole experience was exciting. He added: "We were worried people would forget about us. But I have found out we have a fans website.
"I never thought we would be working with the people we are working with. It's like a dream."
