On World Idol, Guy said: "To me this is just an amazing opportunity to meet people who have gone through the same things that I have been through and I will be able to ask them how they dealt with stuff."
Guy's debut album is called Just As I Am.
What a Wonderful World
In World Idol Guy Sebastian sang an arrangement of Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World. Halfway through the song Guy wandered off into the audience to shake hands with someone in the front row.
Pete Waterman, the British judge, said: "Singing's about entertaining people - and you certainly entertain peole. Will you win this competition? I think you're in with a stong chance, young man."
Simon Cowell said: "If I hadn't seen the competition and then I saw in the newspaper a picture of you which said 'World Idol' I'd be puzzled because you do look a bit odd. But maybe that's a good thing. well done."
