The Polish argument
Alicja Janosz is now know as Alex and she wears one boot up to her knees and has her trouser leg covering the other boot. For World Idol, she sang I Don't Know How To Love Him from Jesus Christ Superstar.
Alex then argued with the Polish judge, Kuba Wojewodzski, for about five minutes - in Polish.
Kuba said: "If I say something bad, your family will shoot down my plane home."
The taTuesque Pole replied: "My family won't need to. Before that, the idols will shoot you! You need God's help now!"
Zack Werner, the Canadian judge, interrupted their argument asking: "Is this going to be like a one hour special?"
Alex replied in English: "OK. I told him 'You need God's help now after what you told the other idols. I hate you!'" At which, the studio audience who had finally understood what was going on cheered loudly. Kuba slipped down underneath the table.
Pete Waterman, the British judge, said: "You're completely barmy. If you'd just calm down for ten minutes we'd see how talented you are." Ponting at Kuba, he said: "You're as bad as him."
Alex replied: "No. Please. Not like him."
Pete Waterman concluded: "It must be the water in Poland."
