Serbia-Montenegro withdraws from the Eurovision Song Contest

Serbia-Montenegro has withdrawn from this year's Eurovision Song Contest after a Montenegran song was chosen amid claims of vote-rigging.

Serbian oficials accused the panel of judges in Montenegro of tactical voting in favour of the entry from Montenegro.

Serbia-Montenegro first took part in the contest in 2004 with the entry from Zeljko Joksimovic which finished second.

On 21st May, the day after this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Montenegrans will go to the polls to decide whether it should declare independence from Serbia-Montenegro.
