Dancing on Ice 2008 - Suzanne Shaw - Horrific fall may end her ice skating hopesSuzanne Shaw and partner Matt Evers were hoping to perform the never attempted on Dancing on Ice before, Death Spiral manouevre in tonight's second show. Unfortnately rehearsals did not go as planned, and ended with Suzanne crashed onto the ice and Matt's blade cut the side of her head. Due to the severity of her head injury paramedics were unable to remove her from the ice for some fifteen minutes. Her other injuries whilst painful, are believed to be less severe. Tearful Suzanne had been widely tipped as being the best female celebrity skater in this the third series of the popular show featuring Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. Will she have recovered in time to skate in this evening's live show? Elsewhere Aggie Mackenzie and her partner Sergei practised for what could be Aggie's last week in the competition. She ended rehearsals in tears after forgetting some of her foot work. Join in the discussions on our Dancing on Ice forum by clicking the link below. |
