I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here - semi-final night and only Biggins and Janice are safely through to the final

Tonight’s semi-final saw the four remaining celebrities all taking part in the bush tucker trial, Celebrity Cyclone. This was basically a relay type of activity where firstly Biggins set off with four large stars across an expanse of water - but it wasn’t that easy - machines were in place to produce a violent storm, wind, rain and treacherous conditions. Biggins had to anchor himself to a position and then pass stars to Janice who had to move further along the water, anchor herself and then pass the stars to Cerys who then had to pass to Jay - who had the furthest distance to travel through the torrent. It looked incredibly difficult, but just as they got more or less in position, a huge torrent of water came gushing down, knocking them all off position. They had to battle against the elements again to regain their positions and position the stars. Three of them managed this, but Cerys didn’t quite make it, therefore three meals were earned for the camp. Apparently Janice injured her coccyx during this trial and came limping back into camp having sought medical advice - but did she moan about it? Of course she did!

Cerys and Biggins took on the Celebrity Chest challenge tonight - a sweet little episode involving them having to operate puppets on strings in order to open the chest and win a treat for the camp.

There then followed a recap of all four semi-finalists' experience in the camp and showed their best and worst moments. Janice had the gall to say, “All they do is whine and complain!!” Pots and kettles spring immediately to mind. Various other celebrities then appeared pledging their support for the remaining four and the voting lines were then closed.

Ant and Dec went into camp to break the news of who would be in tomorrow’s final. Firstly Biggins was declared safe and seemed quite overcome by the news. Janice seemed equally shocked that she was the next person to be safely through. That left J and Cerys - but then Ant and Dec broke the news that they’d have to wait another hour to find out their fate. The voting lines were to be re-opened for people to vote for their favourite out of these two and the result will decide who will join Biggins and Janice in tomorrow’s final.
