Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack (UK)

A new programme has been announced to replace Celebrity Big Brother in 2008.

Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack will run in January 2008 on E4. The show will have celebrities running the show and deciding the fate of a group of 18-21 year olds.

The celebs will make up tasks, make up rules and they will also talk to the housemates in the Diary Room. They will only be on day contracts though as a different person will come in each day to keep things running.

I think with the right mix of celebrities this could be a good show. The 18-21 year olds will be a mixed bag of people who excel in their field. According to one source, "over the next few weeks Big Brother will be combing the UK's hottest young artists, athletes, scientists, musicians, entrepreneurs, fashion gurus and dons in every other field to assemble a cast of pure prodigies."
