Kate and William get close at birthday ballKate Middleton returned from holiday just in time to attend Camilla's 60th birthday ball held at Highgrove in Gloucestershire. There was much speculation wether or not she would attend the party; speculation which she herself denied when questioned by photographers if she was going. Kate Middleton made such a discreet entrance to the party that it was a day later that news arrived that she was there at all! Guests at the event say that Kate wore a floor length cream dress and appeared perfectly at ease among the other guests which, included not only some members of the royal family but also many famous faces from the theater and screen. Guests say that any relationship problems William and Kate may have had in the not-so-distant past appeared to have been amended. Prince William was said to have been unable to take his eyes off Kate and she herself was described as being 'draped over' William for much of the evening. Said one guest, "William couldn't take his eyes off her. Whatever problems they have are clearly sorted." Later in the evening the pair shared a romantic dance to Frank Sinatra's song, 'It had to be you'. One guest who watched them dance said, "They seemed to be in their own little world and barely seemed to be apart. You would have struggled to fit a postage stamp between them." William and Kate were spotted leaving Highgrove together at 2:30am. Camilla is said to be pleased that William and Kate are back together again. The two women get along well and Camilla is reported to have taken Kate 'under her wing'. So perhaps it's no wonder then that Kate's gotten back her man in the end? |
