Grease Is The Word - fourth live showdown

David Ian had swapped the pairs around for this week. The new couples were:

Anthony and Vicky
Danny R and Alison
Bradley and Lauren
Danny B and Michelle
Michael and Susan

After Simon Cowell's criticisms of the show during the week, Brian Friedman came along with what looked like a black wreath wrapped around his neck. Could things really be that bad?

Bradley and Michelle had been in the bottom two again last week and to save Michelle the judges had been forced to send Wayne home. They didn't want to risk losing any more of the good singers and the reshuffling of the remaining ten singers achieved that.

Michael & Susan and Danny B & Michelle were the best couples during the evening and they were saved by the viewers along with Vicky who had been paired with Anthony.

Danny R & Alison and Bradley & Lauren were voted into the bottom two and both couples performed a wooden version of You're The One That I Want in the sing-off. Danny R looked really surprised when he and Alison were saved by the judges.

Bradley, appearing in the bottom two yet again was sent home with Lauren.

Danny R is not the only one who will have trouble acting on stage. The clips played during the show indicated that most of the remaining eight will have their work cut out to look credible on stage.

Next week will be the Danny semi-final and two guys will be voted off - and the following week will be the Sandy semi-final when two girls will be sent home. The final will be the week after that.
