Last Thursday Kate Middleton was seen wearing a minidress designed by UK company Lipsy. Now it's been reported that Prince William's ex-girlfriend wants to meet with Lipsy bosses.
A quick look at the Lipsy website show Kate Middleton on their home page under the heading 'Stars in Lipsy'. Under the picture of Middleton outside Mahiki, there is the caption: "Celebrate life like Kate Middleton by wearing that perfect Lipsy outfit to wow the crowds."
Two short clicks later you're taken to the Kate Middleton page which has three pictures of Kate leaving the nightclub, whilst dressed in the now infamous 'Smock Minidress'. The page reads: "Kate Middleton celebrates being newly single by wearing a Lipsy mini dress on a night out with the girls. This gorgeous jersey print smock dress is available to order now direct to your doorstep."
The Daily Star quotes a source: "Kate likes the fabrics ad colours they use, and knows good designs when she sees them."
If it is a commercial endorsement deal between Kate and Lipsy, then it would not be a first for the ex-girlfriend of Prince William. She has already undertaken a special deal with Audi (receiving a cut-price Audi A3), Virgin (an appearance at last years Wimbledon Rooftop Party in exchange for use of Branson's luxury yacht) and Jigsaw (an appearance at Jigsaw's Bluebird store opening in exchange for use of Jigsaw owners, the Robinsons private luxury villa).
Kate, who is a private citizen, does not have to justify any deals she may have with companies. If she was still dating Wills, then obviously things would be far different.
