Today's Kate-update!

Another day brings more stories in the saga that is the split between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Express tell us that Holly Branson, although a long term friend of Wills, is determined not to get in the middle of the ex-couple. Holly, who is studying medicine, is said to want to stay neutral after developing a friendship with Middleton.

The Express reports that Holly offered Kate the use of the Branson's own private island to avoid the media onslaught. Kate turned down the offer of a stay at Necker Island, instead choosing to remain in the UK.

Meanwhile, Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe is said to be ‘very miserable’ over claims that she may be the reason behind the Wills/Kate split. The 24-year-old who is currently appearing in the West End production of Dirty Dancing, is actually dating Sam Branson, friend of both Wills and Kate. Oh how the world turns!

Yet another story this time from the Daily Star, reports that Zara Philips wants to take Kate Middleton out on a boozy weekend to Brighton. Far from being best pals as the Daily Star reports, Middleton and Zara were never linked before the break up, therefore casting doubt on the all girls-bender in Brighton, of all places.
