Kate Middleton has spoken out for the first time since her relationship with Prince William ended.
Kate told the gathered press outside Mahiki:'I'm fine, really, I'm OK.'
After being given a few compliments on her appearance she glady told photographers that her minidress was a bargain buy from Topshop. She then smiled for the paparazzi and joked with them as she got into a waiting taxi.
It's also been revealed that Kate conducted herself in a less than princess-like manner inside Mahiki. According to the Mail On Sunday Kate flirted outrageously with a number of men. The Mail quotes Alex Shirley-Smith, who claims that Kate flirted with him: "She was dancing in the middle of a group of about five guys, who all seemed a lot more drunk than her.
"The James Brown song Sex Machine came on and she flicked her hair and looked over her shoulder at me.
"The next thing I knew she had twirled backwards towards me so her back was up against me. She started doing some very sexy moves and she was absolutely gorgeous.
"She was a great dancer. I thought she looked the bee's knees but I didn't know who she was, so I asked her name and she said, "Kate." She had fantastic legs and when my friend told me who she was, I thought she looked much prettier and thinner than she does in the papers.
"Then she was snatched away by a really drunk guy who I think was one of her friends. He probably thought he was trying to rescue her, but as he pulled her away, she winked at me and I knew she was flirting.
"I had left the dancefloor, and when I came back they were playing Unbelievable by EMF. Kate was mouthing the words and I pointed at her and mouthed "You're unbelievable" to her. We naturally gravitated towards each other and Kate stepped forward and looked at me cheekily, put her hands on my shoulders and we both sang the rest of the song to each other while we danced.
"As the song was ending I said, "You've got some moves," and she said, smiling, "So have you."'
"She looked gorgeous and she smelt sweet and fresh like spring, even in a smoky, sweaty club."
As Kate showed her new-found single status, her sister Pippa is apparently also going through the same relationship dramas. According to the Mail On Sunday, Pippa has also broken up with her rich, young and good looking boyfriend on the grounds that he failed to commit to her.
Pippa had been reportedly dating JJ Jardine Patterson for 3 years. Now they too have split. A friend told the Mail On Sunday: "Pippa and JJ are going through a rough patch and have agreed to a trial separation.
"They have always had a tempestuous relationship and have broken up a couple of times before.
"One of the problems is that Pippa has a soft spot for her flatmate George Percy, the son of the Duke of Northumberland."
Apparently both Kate and Pippa have been consoling each other: "They have both been saying more or less the same things to each other
"They are complaining about the men in their lives who won't be pinned down.
"They have both been going through a difficult time. The irony is that JJ bears such an uncanny resemblance to William."
It's been a bad week for the Middleton girls.
