Tony Blair praises Prince Harry

He may be feeling the pressure about the UK's involvement in Iraq, but the British PM has taken time to reflect on one of the many soldiers he's deploying to the controversial war zone.

Tony Blair has praised Prince Harry saying: "He's a very brave and determined young man who wants to be part of his regiment and part of the Army."

Blair was glowing about the princes determination to serve his country and not least, Harry's desire to serve with his fellow soldiers.

Blair, who was speaking in an interview on the BBC, said that Harry's strong desire to serve was "very typical of him". He added: "I think that shows a very special character on his part."
