Prince Andrew goes green

Prince Andrew may be getting tired of the tag "Air Miles Andy" as this week he was spotted going to an official engagement via the Tube.

Prince Andrew is said to dislike rail travel as he thinks they'e unreliable but recently the British royal family has come under fire for their un-environmentally friendly ways.

The Daily Express reveals that Prince Andrew made a: "three stop, 18-minute £4 journey from Stratford to Upton Park travelling with commuters on the Jubilee Line, the the District line."

Not alone, 4 of Andrew's aides also travelled with him, as did a local dignitary.

A "senior royal aide" told The Express: "It was the first time he had ever taken the London Underground on an official engagement. he had been on the Tube before but that was a few years ago and I think it was a private trip."
