Flowers and booze: Burrell's latest venture

Self-confessed "rock" of Diana, Princess of Wales, has applied to sell alcohol. Not a strange idea in itself, but Burrell wants to sell the booze at his florist/gift shop in Farndon, near Chester.

According to The Daily Mirror, Mr Burrell's application has received one objection and will be decided at a Chester City Council meeting on Tuesday.

So the next time you need a bunch of roses, why not stop in at Burrell's shop and grab a bottle of vodka as well?
