Kate Middleton has told Prince William to propose within one year or their relationship is over.
A "highly-placed source" has told The People that Kate is fed up with waiting for Wills and that a year is long enough for him to make up his mind.
The "source" told The People: "She is an attractive, intelligent graduate who would be forging ahead in a professional career if she wasn't William's girlfriend. But she is treading water. She would say yes to William tomorrow. But the longer he dithers, the less fair it is on her. If he has doubts she wants him to be honest with her so she can get on with her life."
Kate has been widely criticised outside of the tabloid media market for dithering herself. She wasted 18 long months after finishing uni before she finally got a job. Most people would agree that things would have been far easier on Kate had she worked or kept herself busier within that time.
Kate finally snared a position with Jigsaw, which was obtained through Kate's mother Carole, after Wills told her to do something with herself.
Adding more pressure on Prince William, the "source" said "William is the love of her life and she is being quietly groomed for her role as a royal bride. But William, 24, has said he won't marry until he is 28. Kate would be a saint to wait that long."
