Although tight security and black window drapes blocked the mass of paparazzi and the local media from Chelsy's party a few glimpses inside were caught by those not on the guest list.
A large screen which featured a picture of Chelsy photographed as a little girl overlooked the party was glimised through the curtians.
Guests dressed up in 1920's inspired finery were greeted by the flashing cameras as they arrived at the restaurant and walked up the red carpet to the entrance.
Prince Harry and Chelsy's younger brother Shawn Davy arrived "in a hurry" at 8.30. Prince Harry arrived dressed as a mobster but eventually exchanged his white dress shirt for a printed t-shirt made up for the party. The front of the black t-shirt read "Spike, official bodyguard of Miss CD". While the back featured a photograph of Chelsy with the logo "Hands off China".
A saxophone played the tune Happy Birthday while Chelsy, who wore an emerald green flapper dress and feathered headdress blew out the candles on her white cake.
Guests reported that Harry and Chelsy were, "Very sweet. They were kissing and cuddling a lot on the dance floor. They are so in love and Harry couldn't stop telling everyone. He kept saying, 'She's so hot. Isn't she beautiful?'"
Chelsy also made a short speech during which she turned to Harry and said, "My darling boy Haz, thank you for coming."
