There is speculation that Prince Harry, who arrived in Cape Town a couple days ago to surprise Chelsy on her birthday, wants to "take their relationship to the next level" and has asked his girlfriend of nearly three years to move to London after completing her business degree.
Says a source, "He is totally smitten with Chelsy and misses her terribly. He would love her to be closer so they could see each other more often."
It is said that despite Harry's offer to pay for her London flat that Chelsy probably will not make the move to England because she can't stand the weather.
"It is impossible for him to leave England, so the ball is in Chelsy's court. He has delighted her by flying all this way for the party - but if he hopes it will help persuade her to move, he is sadly mistaken. Chelsy hates the cold. None of us expects her to go."
It's seems more likely, to me at least, that its not just the weather giving Chelsy cold feet but knowing how much less freedom the already closely followed Davy will have if she decides to make such a big move away from the familiar surroundings of Africa and the protection and support of her friends and family there.
Who said love was easy?!
