I'd Do Anything - Amy Booth-Steel becomes the first "Nancy" to leave

In the first results show, twelve want-to-be Nancys were reduced to eleven.

Was this a separate live show or was it filmed last night following the main show?

The twelve Nancys were shown flogging various market wares down the East End and trying out their cockney pitches.

Back in the studio now finalist Gwion sang lead with the remaining eleven other semi-finalist Olivers, ably demonstrating his vocal and performing abilities with “Bright Eyes” which has seen him secure an early place in the final six Olivers.

The twelve Nancys sang a version of “Sounds of the Underground” whilst Lord Webber tucked into his supper of jellied eels. The panel identified Jessie and Samantha for good individual performances and Amy and Tara as below par performances, although Lord Webber deliberated too long over his preferences!

Amy and Francesca had the fewest votes and had to face the dreaded sing off, performing “Tell me on a Sunday” against each other.

After much deliberating Lord Webber saved Francesca and Amy faced the first farewell rendition. She saved the best until last and her version of “As long as he needs me” gave much more of an indication of the potential and versatility she has.

24 year old Amy Booth-Steel recently toured in a production of Scooby Doo, appearing as Velma. Hopefully we will see her appearing on stage again before long.
