Showdown on 23rd August

The fifth showdown was a Bee Gees special. All the nine students sang Bee Gees songs:

Paris: You Should Be Dancing

Carolynne: Guilty

Barry: How Deep Is Your Love

Simone: Heartbreaker

Alistair: To Love Somebody

Louise: Too Much Heaven

Peter: Massachusetts

Alex: Words

James: More Than a Woman

Robin together with Alex, Alistair, Louise and Paris: You Win Again

Simone expelled

Six students were saved by the viewers' vote. Carolynne, Paris and Simone were in the bottom three.

The teachers then voted unanimously to save Paris.

Six of the saved students then voted to save Carolynne. Only James voted for Simone who was therefore expelled.
