Showdown on 20th August

Ten students sang in the fourth showdown:

Simone: Out of Reach

Paris: It Ain't Over Till It's Over - Lenny Kravitz

Alistair: Kiss From a Rose

Carolynne: Just Like a Pill - Pink

Gary: Drive - The Cars

Louise: I'll Stand By You

Peter: Last Night

Gary expelled

The viewers voted to save seven students - which left three students: Gary, Simone and Louise.

David, Carrie and Richard voted to save Louise and Robin voted for Gary.

The saved students could then save one of Gary and Simone. The first two, James and Barry, voted to save Gary but the other six voted to save Simone. Gary was expelled.

Asked how he felt he said: "Bit gutted and a bit emotional."
