Prince Philip on the mend

Prince Philip has been discharged from the King Edward VII hospital following a three night stay due to a chest infection. Royal officials have dubbed his stay in the hospital as a 'precaution' rather then an emergency, and the Prince is currently recovering at Windsor castle.

The 86 year old royal had to cancel a number of engagements, but is hoping to get back to work shortly. While a palace official remarked on Saturday that "There are some functions at Windsor on Monday and he is hoping to attend them," we now know that all his Monday engagement have been canceled. He will attend functions throughout the week on a day-by-day basis until he has made a full recovery.
