Dancing on Ice 2008 - Broadway theme for week 4Dancing on Ice series 3 enters its fourth week and it will be interesting seeing the difference in ability levels as the stronger celebrity skaters learn more ice skating skills and the weaker fail to cut it, literally! This week's theme is "Broadway" presumably to give judge Ruthie Henshall a focus of purpose for being on the panel. Hopefully soon she and fellow judge Jason Gardiner will learn about the technicalities of the sport and competition they are judging! Gareth Gates and his partner Maria will be skating to Chicago's "Razzle Dazzle" and Ruthie Henshall wants to see "the man emerge" Aggie and her partner Sergei will be performing to a pretty number which set the judges into thinking mode. Jason Gardiner stated on the "Dancing on Ice - Make me a Star" show this evening that the two skaters who should be in the skate off tomorrow were Greg Rusedski and Aggie Mackenzie. Karen Barber just admitted that she was always relieved when Aggie's music ended and hopefully she had completed her performance safely! As for Tim Vincent, the judges were hoping he would improve on his corny facial expressions! Ruthie wanted to know if Linda Lusardi could skate solo, and the judges all agreed that new girl Zaraah Abrahams could and was giving Suzanne Shaw some stiff competition. The judges appeared to have a mixed reaction to some of the song choices. When it was revealed that Chris Fountain and his partner Frankie Poultney were perfoming to a track from the Rocky Horror Show, Jason produced a fetching photo of Robin Cousins dressed for the same role some years back, in suspenders and stockings! Dancing on Ice led by Jayne Torvill and a non-skating Christopher Dean will be shown on ITV1 on Sunday at 6.15 pm. The results show starts at 8.45 pm. |
