Seasoned royal correspondent James Whitaker has appeared on ITV's This Morning show and defended Kate Middleton's lack of work.

The veteran journalist said that he felt there wasn't any need for Kate to work. He told hosts Fern Britton and Philip Schofield "Maybe she's just standing by to see what's going to happen in her relationship with William?" when asked about the current criticism of her lack of work.

Little is known about the Davy family apart from Charles Davy’s alleged business links. The media vilifies Chelsy’s father for his supposed dealings with Zimbabwean despot, Robert Mugabe. In fact, Chelsy’s family has done much and been through a great deal for Zimbabwe.

During Chelsy's 21st birthday celebrations, guests were reduced to fits of laughter at the speeches given by the birthday girl's brother and friends.

Shaun Davy explained that Chelsy was well known for her "Chelsyisms", as he calls the phrases or statements his sister uses. Shaun, who is a year younger than Chelsy, said “My sister is famous for her Chelsyisms. Harry always says she is as gaffe-prone as George Bush — but much better looking.

Just hours after it was speculated that Prince Harry had planned to "beg" Chelsy Davy to move to London after completing her studies, The Mail on Sunday has reported that Chelsy has been accepted by the University of Bristol to study politics as a postgraduate student.

Although tight security and black window drapes blocked the mass of paparazzi and the local media from Chelsy's party a few glimpses inside were caught by those not on the guest list.

A large screen which featured a picture of Chelsy photographed as a little girl overlooked the party was glimised through the curtians.

As we reported earlier, Prince Harry joined his girlfriend to celebrate her 21st birthday. It's now been revealed that Chelsy and Harry spent some of the party in the toilet.

At around 1.52am, Chelsy and Harry were seen entering one of the single toilets for disable people. The pair remained there for 8 minutes before emerging looking "flustered and slightly dishevelled".

There is speculation that Prince Harry, who arrived in Cape Town a couple days ago to surprise Chelsy on her birthday, wants to "take their relationship to the next level" and has asked his girlfriend of nearly three years to move to London after completing her business degree.

As if the recent spate of engagement rumours for Prince William and Kate Middleton weren't enough, a seasoned royal photographer has now added more fuel to the fire.

Mario Testino, who most famously took breathtaking pictures of Diana, Princess of Wales, wants to be the one to take the official engagement photographs for Wills and Kate. Testino told the Daily Express newspaper "I would love to do that. Let's pray for that."
