Timmy Mallett finally reached the jungle camp last night after spending a night in a cage, having been taken hostage earlier in the day and held to ransom for some of the other celebrities' luxury items. No-one was prepared to give up any of their luxuries for newcomers who, as was quite rightly pointed out, had just come from the luxury of a five-star hotel and who were unlikely to be hungry for some time.
The following morning however, Timmy and his fellow hostage, the seemingly unlikeable David van Day were released by Martina Navratilova and Dani Behr and were given a warm welcome by the by-now seasoned jungle celebrities.
Timmy obviously isn't too clued up on how to win friends as he spent the whole of Robert's trial chortling like a naughty schoolboy whilst Robert endured all manner of bugs, rats and slime being poured over him. Even when Timmy was warned by the others that Robert was getting increasingly riled by the irritating giggling, he still continued to make fun of Robert who was understandably very angry and upset, especially as he'd made a sterling effort and won 12 meals for the camp.
