And so we have a new King of The Jungle.. JUNGLE JOE
After 3 weeks in the jungle only 3 celebrities remained. George, Martina & Joe. They all had one last bush tucker trial yes and there was some trepidation and reluctance. Joe was the first to go with his trial.
Joe seemed to know what it was as he had watched the show before.. He had to go into a coffin dug deep into the rainforest and deal with critters! Freezing water, rats and eels... but he did it! Well done Joe!
George was next in order to do a trial to get the main course.
He quipped that he felt that the covers were attractive on the food.
Cockroaches or lasagne... What a choice! George really enjoyed the cockroaches.
Next up on the menu was locust or Thai Curry...yummy, for anyone that may want to sample.. they have a toasty taste.
To follow... Witchity grub or burger and fries.... (I can hardly watch) again George managed to treat this as a gourmet sampler
Champagne or a kangaroo penis...what would you have chosen? George chose the latter and (gulp) hopped his way through that particular dish.
And for the 5th and final selection a camel’s testicle or a chocolate dessert... George declined on this and said his hunger was satisfied. Who can blame him! Again well done George... sterling performance.
Martina now has the final trial and has to win them dessert... Her trial is called Fill Your Face.
A bubble with different critters being poured in at timed intervals. Would Martina manage all 5 sets?
Grasshoppers, cockroaches, stick insects, spiders and finally SNAKES! Game Set and Match to Martina.
In third place is: - George.. What a lovely man he is, a legend.
And so as the credits roll, there have been many genuine friendships formed and some that will be glad never to see each other again!
