He'd have to be sensitive, kind, trusting...someone willing to share all that stuff. Sex would come with it of course." Nadia told the newspaper how winning Big Brother meant so much to her as she battles to be fully accepted as a transsexual. Nadia said: "There are no words that describe the happiness I'm feeling. I am totally flattered and I feel very worthy." Nadia wins Big Brother Nadia, Big Brother's hottest ever favourite to win, claimed a £63,500 prize. She had survived four eviction votes and won over the nation. After winning Big Brother Nadia has revealed she now has her heart set on getting married, saying that "every girl's dream is a white wedding". Throughout her time in the house, Nadia kept secret from her fellow housemates the fact she had had a sex-change operation. As the result was announced, Nadia screamed "Oh my god" and began to shake. Runner-up Jason grabbed her in an embrace and told her: "You've won it. You all right man?" Nadia continued to tremble and bewildered, repeated: "Oh my god". Asked why she had kept her transsexuality hidden from her housemates, Nadia said: "It wasn't a secret. It was more a reassurance of myself, it was my self ambition to achieve. "It was very hard because there were times that I felt I had to lie a little bit and I didn't want to lie at all. There were moments when I felt I would just come clean and be honest about it." Nadia later told reporters at a press conference that she went on to the show to make people believe she was a woman. "I am now accepted by the public as a woman and I feel much more comfortable about myself," she said. She added that she was shocked that her mother, who she had not seen for a year, had travelled from Portugal. I never thought she would be here. I hope to spend some time with her." Nadia's mum Nadia’s mum Conceição Almada flew in for the Big Brother final. Kitchen worker Conceição, had not spoken face-to-face to Nadia, who was born Jorge, in more than a year - since before her operation. Conceição wanted to patch things up and said: “Nadia will not expect to see me here in Britain. She told Big Brother it would mean a lot to her if her family were there when she left the house. Whatever has happened I wanted to be there to support her.” Nadia burst into tears when she was reunited with her mother in the Big Brother final. Nadia and the snip Marco was the first housemate to guess Nadia's secret. He told a stunned Emma and Stuart: "Do you know, I think Nadia is a transsexual. I don't know. She might have had the snip." Ahmed was also curious about Nadia. "There's something intriguing about you," he commented. "Interesting, very interesting," Nadia laughed, without commenting further.
