Big Brother 3Kate on Top of the Pops Kate was reportedly signed up to front a new version of Top of the Pops. It was reported that she would become the programme's main presenter. Kate RI:SEs early Kate has replaced Edith Bowman on the Channel 4 morning show RI:SE. The Sun reported that Kate signed a six-figure deal for a year. Kate said: “I’m really excited. No more late nights for me.” The show's producer, Justin Gorman, said: “When we tested Kate she came across as she did in Big Brother - natural, smart and full of life.” Kate hosts the show alongside Iain Lee and keeps her slot on London’s Capital Radio. Alex stars on Nickelodeon Alex was a presenter on a new TV show on Nickelodeon. He co-hosted Off The Hook with Yolly for four weeks from 7th March 2003. The Hook is an interactive quiz show in which kids phone in to answer questions from Alex to try to win a prize. This could be anything from swimming with dolphins in Florida to being a popstar for a day. Lee and Sophie Lee and Sophie appeared on Channel 4's RI:SE on 4th November 2002. Lee got down on one knee and asked Sophie if she would marry him. Sophie burst into tears and said "yes". They were then whisked away for a two-day break in Paris which had been organised for them by the show. Sophie said she felt "amazing". They got married in 2003. Big Brother wins award Big Brother won the prize for most popular factual programme at the National TV Awards. The awards ceremony was presented by Sir Trevor MacDonald on 15th October 2002. Kate on Capital Radio Kate is now a DJ. She filled in for Steve Penk on his late-night slot for a five day run on the Capital FM network from Sunday 1st September. She is now set to take a regular slot presenting Hit Music Sunday with Andi Peters. "It's an honour to be working with Andi who I've been a fan of since his days with Edd the Duck," she said. Jade tries to lose weight Jade has been trying to get rid of her 'kebab belly'. She claims she only added a stone while she was inside the Big Brother House. But she admitted she couldn't fit into any of the clothes she had taken into the house with at the start of the series. Her fitness instructor at the Oasis gym at Marlow in Buckinghamshire, Jamie Stone, said: "She isn't fat at all. She just needs to lose a few pounds and tone up a bit. If she did a decent hour-long work out three times a week she would see good results within four weeks." |
