Ainslie's single Keep Me A Secret was released on the 24th February. It reached number five in the UK official top 40. Don't miss the video: Ainslie would also make a very good actor.

Ainslie in fourth place

In the penultimate show Ainslie sang U2's With or Without You. Carrie said he had a difficult song which took him from the bottom to the top of his vocal range and he did well. Kevin said: "Definitely a result."

However, he did not get enough votes from the viewers and did not get a vote from either David or Sinead. He was therefore the last person to be voted out of the house.

A for Ainslie

Ainslie was the A grade student in the third week and sang his own song Keep Me a Secret on the Friday show.

Ainslie and Marli

Ainslie said: “Put the two of us in bed together and it would be explosive. When you put me and Marli on stage together, it’s pure sex. There is a lot of chemistry between us.

"If me and Marli were in bed together it would be almost as entertaining as putting us on stage to sing together.”

Ainslie and Bernadette

Ainslie and Bernadette have been together for three years and were sharing a flat in Shoreditch, East London, before Ainslie went to the Fame Academy.

And he claimed that Bernadette had no reason to become jealous.

Ainslie said: "I am flirty, I can’t deny that. But it’s very embarrassing when I get called the Fame Academy romeo.

"Me and Berni have a great relationship, she knows me so well. I love her very much, I’ve written loads of songs about her. She could definitely be the one."

Rebel Ainslie

Ainslie had only been in the academy for a week when he started a group food fight, which sprayed food over the expensive furnishings. He had obviously never done any cleaning or tidying in his life.

Later in the series he sprayed cornflakes over the floor of the dining room, reducing some of the staff to tears when they saw the room. Ainslie was told to clear the mess up with a dustpan and brush - and had to do the washing-up.

Ainslie goes to hospital

Viewers have been sending gifts to the students at the Fame Academy - far too many to fit into their suitcases.

And so the students went along to the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead to dispense some good cheer to the children there - and some early Christmas presents.

Rana asked Ainslie: "Why do you want to be famous?"

"I just want to be a singer and jump around and not have to go to work," he replied.

Ainslie and debauchery

Ainslie said: "If I become a pop star the world will be my playground.

"It’s going to be debauchery!"

Ainslie and Naomi

Ashley House started telling tales when he had left the house. He said: "There's a budding romance between Ainslie Henderson and Naomi Roper."

Then, he quickly remembered Ainslie has - or had - a girlfriend and added: "But I'm sure he's very happy with Bernadette."

Unfortunately, Naomi had to leave the house shortly afterwards because of the problems with her throat. Ainslie was very upset when he heard the news. "Oh, she's lovely," he said as he contemplated the academy without her.

Ainslie, 23, is a singer-songwriter originally from Hawick in Scotland who now lives in London. He had a band called Suburbia who were signed to a small Los Angeles label before the band split up last year. He has played in the famous Viper Room in Los Angeles.
